     Vice-Admiral Noel Stephen Fox Digby was born on 2 October 1839.1 He was the son of Captain George Somerville Digby and Lady Emily Jane Butler-Danvers.1 He married, firstly, Ethel Dorothea Spicer, daughter of Reverend William Webb Spicer, on 9 July 1879.1 He married, secondly, Sibella Frances Drake, daughter of Henry Drake, on 28 November 1893.1 He died on 18 January 1920 at age 80.1
     He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy.1
