Michael Wigram was born on 30 August 1919.1 He was the son of Loftus Edward Wigram and Constance Emma Letitia Edwards.2 He married Margaret Edith Ann Watson-Baker, daughter of Wilfred Ernest Watson-Baker, on 25 April 1945.1 He died on 23 November 1973 at age 54, killed in a car crash.1
He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Essex, England.1 He graduated from St. Peter's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1945.1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of General Practitioners (M.R.C.G.P.)1
