     Charles Joseph Vavasour was born on 15 April 1817.¹ He was the son of Hon. Sir Edward Marmaduke Joseph Vavasour, 1st Bt. and Marcia Bridget Lane-Fox.¹ He died on 21 April 1846 at age 29, unmarried.¹

     William Joseph Vavasour was born on 26 February 1822.² He was the son of Hon. Sir Edward Marmaduke Joseph Vavasour, 1st Bt. and Marcia Bridget Lane-Fox.² He married Hon. Mary Constantia Clifford, daughter of Hugh Charles Clifford, 7th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Mary Lucy Weld, on 12 January 1846.¹ He died on 11 January 1860 at age 37.²

     Hon. Mary Constantia Clifford was born in 1825. She was the daughter of Hugh Charles Clifford, 7th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Mary Lucy Weld.² She married, firstly, William Joseph Vavasour, son of Hon. Sir Edward Marmaduke Joseph Vavasour, 1st Bt. and Marcia Bridget Lane-Fox, on 12 January 1846.¹ She married, secondly, Maurice Denis Kavanagh on 7 February 1865.¹ She died on 18 March 1898.¹
     From 12 January 1846, her married name became Vavasour. From 7 February 1865, her married name became Kavanagh.

     Maurice Denis Kavanagh married Hon. Mary Constantia Clifford, daughter of Hugh Charles Clifford, 7th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Mary Lucy Weld, on 7 February 1865.¹
     He was a practising barrister.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹

     Hugh Charles Clifford, 7th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh was born on 22 May 1790 at New Park, Somerset, England^G.² He was the son of Charles Clifford, 6th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Hon. Eleanor Mary Arundell.² He married Mary Lucy Weld, daughter of Cardinal Thomas Weld and Lucy Bridget Clifford, on 1 September 1818 at Paris, France^G.² He died on 28 February 1858 at age 67 at Rome, Italy^G, from a wound in the ankle.³ He was buried on 2 March 1858 at Rome, Italy^G.⁴ His will was proven (by probate) on 17 July 1858, at under £50,000.⁴
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.² He succeeded as the 7th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, co. Devon [E., 1672] on 29 April 1831.¹

     Captain Oliver Payan Dawnay was born on 4 April 1920.² He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Guy Payan Dawnay and Cecil Buxton.² He married, firstly, Lady Margaret Dorothea Boyle, daughter of Captain Patrick James Boyle, 8th Earl of Glasgow and Hyacyinthe Mary Bell, on 3 February 1944.¹ He and Lady Margaret Dorothea Boyle were divorced in 1963.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Iris Irene Adele Peake, daughter of Osbert Peake, 1st Viscount Ingleby and Lady Joan Rachel de Vere Capell, on 8 December 1963.¹ He died on 18 March 1988 at age 67.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He held the office of Private Secretary and Equerry to HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother between 1950 and 1956.² He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1953.¹ He was partner with Grieveson Grant & Company.² He was member of the London Stock Exchange.² He held the office of Extra Equerry to HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother between 1956 and 1962.²

     Mary Lucy Weld was born on 31 January 1799 at Upway, Dorset, England^G.² She was the daughter of Cardinal Thomas Weld and Lucy Bridget Clifford.^2,3 She married Hugh Charles Clifford, 7th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh, son of Charles Clifford, 6th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Hon. Eleanor Mary Arundell, on 1 September 1818 at Paris, France^G.¹ She died on 15 May 1831 at age 32 at Rome, Italy^G.²
     Her married name became Clifford. After her marriage, Mary Lucy Weld was styled as Baroness Clifford of Chudleigh on 29 April 1831.

     Cardinal Thomas Weld was born on 22 January 1773.³ He was the son of Thomas Weld and Mary Stanley-Massey.² He married Lucy Bridget Clifford, daughter of Hon. Henry Thomas Clifford and Hon. Barbara Aston, on 7 June 1796.⁴ He died on 10 April 1837 at age 64.⁵
     He was ordained after 1815 as a Roman Catholic priest.⁵ He held the office of Bishop of Amyclae in 1825.⁴ He held the office of Cardinal on 15 March 1830.⁵ He lived at Lulworth Castle, Dorset, England^G.¹

     Lucy Bridget Clifford was born in 1771.² She was the daughter of Hon. Henry Thomas Clifford and Hon. Barbara Aston.³ She married Cardinal Thomas Weld, son of Thomas Weld and Mary Stanley-Massey, on 7 June 1796.¹ She died on 1 June 1815.³
     Her married name became Weld.

     Edgar Brereton Trelawny was born in 1840 at Putney, Surrey, England.² He was the son of Edward John Trelawny.² He married Rosina Brandon, daughter of Charles Brandon, on 23 March 1872 at London, England.^1,2 He died in September 1872 at The Strand, London, England.^1,2
     On 6 June 1867 he was adjudged bankrupt.²
