Sir Thomas Astley Woollaston White, 5th Bt. was born on 13 May 1904.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Archibald Woollaston White, 4th Bt. and Gladys Becher Love Pitman.2 He married Daphne Margaret Athill, daughter of Colonel Francis Remi Imbert Athill, on 8 July 1935.1 He died in 1996.1
He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet White, of Wallingwells, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1802] on 16 December 1945.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wigtownshire in 1952.1 He was appointed Fellow, Land Agent's Society (F.L.A.S.)1
