Hon. Marmaduke Constable-Maxwell of Terregles was born on 1 January 1806.1 He was the son of Marmaduke William Constable-Maxwell and Theresa Apollonia Wakeman.1 He married Mary Marsden, daughter of Reverend Anthony Marsden, in 1836.1 He died on 16 July 1872 at age 66, without issue.1
On 2 August 1858 he was granted the rank of a Lord of Parliament's younger son.1
