Sir David Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 12th Bt.1

     Sir David Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 12th Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 11th Bt. and Janet Taylor.2 He married Margaret Symson, daughter of Andrew Symson.1 He died on 13 April 1793.1
     He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Wardlaw, of Pitreavie, Fife [N.S., 1631] in February 1782.1

     Sir John Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 13th Bt. was the son of Sir David Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 12th Bt. and Margaret Symson.2 He married Jean Mitchell, daughter of Charles Mitchell.1 He died on 1 January 1823.1
     He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Wardlaw, of Pitreavie, Fife [N.S., 1631] on 13 April 1793.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 64th Regiment.1

     Jean Mitchell was the daughter of Charles Mitchell.2 She married Sir John Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 13th Bt., son of Sir David Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 12th Bt. and Margaret Symson.1 She died on 16 February 1880.1
     Her married name became Wardlaw.
