Bernard Henry Home Thomson was born on 9 January 1874.1 He was the son of Most Reverend William Thomson and Zoë Skene.2 He married, firstly, Helen Margaret Scholfield, daughter of Robert Stanley Scholfield, on 27 April 1905.1 He married, secondly, Dorothea Elizabetheldest Woods, daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Robert Sandford Woods, on 12 February 1938.1 He died on 13 June 1953 at age 79.1
