Granville Cecil Douglas Gordon and Violet Ida Streatfeild, on 26 August 1949.1 She died on 23 August 2003.3

     Lt.-Col. Lord Douglas Claude Alexander Gordon was born on 30 July 1916.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Granville Cecil Douglas Gordon and Violet Ida Streatfeild.2 He married, firstly, Suzanne Houssemayne Du Boulay, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Houssemayne Du Boulay and Blanche Hornung, on 21 December 1940.2 He and Suzanne Houssemayne Du Boulay were divorced in 1961.2 He married, secondly, Bridget Ingham in 1962.2 He died in August 1994 at age 78 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Black Watch.2 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He held the office of PAge of Honour to HM King George V between 1930 and 1933.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 On 20 November 1937 he was granted the rank of a marquess's younger son.2 He fought in the Second World War, in Italy.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1944.2 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.2
