     Hilda Trevelyan was born on 28 July 1892.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Ernest John Trevelyan and Julia Isabel Mark.² She married Marmaduke Theakstone Hancock, son of Reverend Frederick Hancock and Baptista Josephine Woodhouse, on 28 July 1913.¹ She died on 31 December 1973 at age 81.¹
     From 28 July 1913, her married name became Hancock.
