Sir George Trevelyan, 1st Bt. was born circa 1635.2 He was the son of George Trevelyan and Margaret Strode.3 He married Mary Willoughby, daughter of John Willoughby, on 8 January 1655.1 He died in 1671.2

Sir John Trevelyan, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1670.1 He was the son of Sir George Trevelyan, 1st Bt. and Mary Willoughby.2 He married, firstly, Urith Pole, daughter of Sir John Pole, 3rd Bt. and Anne Morice, in 1693.1 He married, secondly, Susanna Warren, daughter of William Warren, in 1700.1 He died on 25 September 1755.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Trevelyan, of Nettlecombe, co. Somerset [E., 1662] in 1671.1 He was educated at Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Somerset between 1695 and 1698.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Somerset in 1700.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Minehead between 1708 and 1716.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Minehead between 1718 and 1722.1
