Sir Curtis George Lampson, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 January 1890.1 He was the son of Sir George Curtis Lampson, 2nd Bt. and Sophia van Gelderen.1 He married Maud Lawson Wrigley, daughter of George Lawton Wrigley, on 16 October 1920.1 He died on 28 August 1971 at age 81.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Lampson [U.K., 1866] on 7 November 1899.1 He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was an explorer of Central Belgian Congo and the interior of French West Africa.1 He was an explorer and journalist.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Zoological Society (F.R.Z.S.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 In April 1940 he was convicted of attempting to obtain money by false pretences (securing an Army commission for a Mr. Andreae). He was sentened to 18 months prison.2

She married, secondly, Major Cecil William Wilson, son of James Wilson, on 30 January 1906.1 She died on 5 May 1945.1
