     Agnes Primrose is the daughter of James Primrose and Catherine Lawson.2 She married Alexander Menteth, son of Alexander Menteth of Salmonet and Rachel Sandilands, in 1638.1
     From 1638, her married name became Menteth.

     William Menteth of Caribber is the son of Alexander Menteth of Salmonet and Rachel Sandilands.2 He married, firstly, Christian Boyd, daughter of Robert Boyd.1 He married, secondly, Anne Elphinstone.1
     He lived at Caribber, Linlithgowshire, Scotland.1 He purchased Caribber in 1640.1

Sir Patrick Menteth1

     Sir Patrick Menteth was the son of Alexander Menteth of Salmonet and Rachel Sandilands.2 He died in 1675, killed.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Dumbarton's Regiment.1 He was appointed Knight by King Charles II.1 He fought in the Siege of Dachstein in 1675.1

Robert Menteth1

     Robert Menteth is the son of William Menteth of Caribber and Christian Boyd.2 He married Elizabeth Mowat, daughter of Sir George Mowat of Inglestoun, 1st Bt., in 1680.1
     He sold Caribber in 1687.1
