     Henrietta Cholmley was baptised on 23 September 1760 at Scrayingham, Yorkshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Nathaniel Cholmley and Henrietta Catherine Croft.1 She married Sir William Strickland, 6th Bt., son of Sir George Strickland, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Letitia Winn, on 15 April 1778.1 She died on 26 March 1827 at age 66.1
     From 15 April 1778, her married name became Strickland.

     Sir George Cholmley, 7th Bt. was born on 20 November 1782.2 He was the son of Sir William Strickland, 6th Bt. and Henrietta Cholmley.2 He married, firstly, Mary Constable, daughter of Reverend Charles Constable, on 8 March 1818.2 He married, secondly, Jane Leavens, daughter of Thomas Leavens, on 26 May 1867.3 He died on 23 December 1874 at age 92.2
     He was given the name of George Strickland at birth.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire between 1831 and 1841.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Strickland, of Boynton, co. York [E., 1641] on 8 January 1834.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Preston between 1841 and 1867.2 On 17 March 1865 his name was legally changed to George Cholmley by Royal Licence.1

     Reverend Nathaniel Constantine Strickland was born on 7 September 1792.1 He was the son of Sir William Strickland, 6th Bt. and Henrietta Cholmley.2 He married, firstly, Charlotte Danvers Hecker, daughter of S. H. T. La Touche Hecker, on 22 October 1835.1 He married, secondly, Harriet Hennings, daughter of Richard Hennings, on 28 March 1854.1 He died on 12 January 1886 at age 93.1
     He was Vicar at Reighton, England.1

     Charlotte Danvers Hecker was the daughter of S. H. T. La Touche Hecker.2 She married Reverend Nathaniel Constantine Strickland, son of Sir William Strickland, 6th Bt. and Henrietta Cholmley, on 22 October 1835.1 She died on 3 December 1850, without issue.1
     From 22 October 1835, her married name became Strickland.

Walter Richard Strickland1

     Walter Richard Strickland was born on 25 April 1859.1 He was the son of Reverend Nathaniel Constantine Strickland and Harriet Hennings.2 He married Julia Maud Jenkyns, daughter of Edward S. Jenkyns, on 20 January 1880.1 He died on 26 October 1940 at age 81.1
     He was given the name of Walter Richard Strickland at birth.1 In 1886 his name was legally changed to Walter Richard Cholmley.1 His name was legally changed to Walter Richard Strickland.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1

     Walter Edward Strickland was born on 24 November 1880.1 He was the son of Walter Richard Strickland and Julia Maud Jenkyns.2 He married Edith Fanny Goodall, daughter of William George Goodall, on 15 August 1931.1 He died on 14 June 1944 at age 63.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Engineers.1
