Thomas Willing Stirling, 5th of Muiravonside was born on 10 October 1866.1 He is the son of Thomas Mayne Stirling, 3rd of Muiravonside and Anna Stirling.2 He married Mabel Marie Connolly, daughter of Reverend Robert James Charles Connolly, on 28 June 1888.1 He died on 15 March 1930 at age 63.1
He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1
