     She gained the rank of Sergeant in the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry.¹ From 2 June 1945, her married name became Clarke-Smith. She was awarded the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.) in 1949.¹ She lived in 2003 at 11 Chattis Hill Court, Spitfire Lane, Stockbridge, Hampshire, England.¹

     Douglas Alexander Clarke-Smith was the son of Alexander Clarke-Smith.² He married Catherine Rosemary Ellis, daughter of Henry Guysulf Bertram Ellis and Kathleen Roberta Mitchell, on 2 June 1945.¹ He died on 12 March 1959.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.)¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Humphrey Douglas Bevis Clarke-Smith was born on 10 July 1948.¹ He is the son of Douglas Alexander Clarke-Smith and Catherine Rosemary Ellis.² He married Christine Quy in 1975.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 24 Ave Y Lutens, Brussels, Belgium.¹

     Christine Quy married Humphrey Douglas Bevis Clarke-Smith, son of Douglas Alexander Clarke-Smith and Catherine Rosemary Ellis, in 1975.¹
