     Robert Manners Croft was born on 21 October 1814.2 He was the son of Venerable James Croft and Charlotte Manners-Sutton.3,2 He married Cecilia Isabella Winn, daughter of Charles Winn and Priscilla Strickland, in September 1848.1 He died on 30 June 1860 at age 45.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Royal Dragoons.2

     Ann Winn was baptised on 31 December 1734 at Wragby, Yorkshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir Rowland Winn, 4th Bt. and Susanna Henshaw.3 She married George Allanson-Winn, 1st Lord Headley, Baron Allanson and Winn of Aghadoe, son of Pelham Winn and Elizabeth Wighton, on 12 April 1765.1 She died on 9 October 1774 at age 39.
     From 12 April 1765, her married name became Winn.
