     Captain Mervyn Robert George Wingfield was born on 16 January 1911 at Rathgar, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Reverend William Edward Wingfield and Elizabeth Mary Trench.1 He married Sheila Mary Pigé-Leschallas, daughter of Major John Henry Pigé-Leschallas, on 25 July 1936.1,3 He died on 15 March 2005 at age 94 at Hindhead, Surrey, England.1
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was the first Briitsh submarine commander to sink a Japanese submarine, I-34.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1942.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) and bar.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1962 and 1967.3 He lived in 2003 at Fairwinds, Highfield Crescent, Hindhead, Surrey, England.3

     Crispin John Speaight was born on 25 October 1945.1 He is the son of James Guy Bramwell and Bridget Laura Bosworth Smith.2
     He was given the name of Crispin John Smith at birth.1 He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.1 In 1957 his name was legally changed to Crispin John Speaight by Deed Poll.1 He was registered as a Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants (A.C.A.) in 1969.1

     From 18 January 1964, her married name became Knowles.2 She lived in 2003 at 2 Spencer Road, South Croydon, London, England.2

     Commander Michael Louis Woollcombe was born on 4 May 1920.1 He was the son of Admiral Louis Charles Stirling Woollcombe and Constance Perry Circuitt.1 He married Nancy Turner, daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Frederick Turner, on 15 July 1944.1 He died on 19 April 2006 at age 85.1
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1962.1

     Ellinor Flora Bosworth Smith was the daughter of Reginald Bosworth Smith and Flora Wickham.2 She married, firstly, Sir Harry Langhorne Thompson in 1894.1 She married, secondly, Sir Edward Ion Beresford Grogan, 2nd Bt. on 25 September 1907.1 She died on 10 May 1948, without issue.1
     From 1894, her married name became Thompson. From 25 September 1907, her married name became Grogan.1
