Captain Lionel Peyton Skipwith was born on 23 June 1902.1 He was the son of Francis Skipwith and Marjory Rolt.2 He married Thelma Westwood, daughter of Surgn.-Cdr. Adrian A. Westwood, on 21 July 1926.1 He died in 1978.1

Commander James Michael Burnard Walkey was the son of Rear-Admiral Howarth Seymour Walkey.2 He married, firstly, Venetia Forrester Skipwith, daughter of Captain Lionel Peyton Skipwith and Thelma Westwood, on 28 July 1951.1 He and Venetia Forrester Skipwith were divorced in 1991.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Awdry Burnard in 1991.3 He died in January 2002.3
