Major Frank Peyton Skipwith1

     Major Frank Peyton Skipwith was born on 28 February 1881.1 He was the son of Archibald Peyton Skipwith and Edith Royds.2 He married Hon. Bridget Vera Byng, daughter of George Stanley Byng, 8th Viscount Torrington and Alice Arabella Jameson, on 9 November 1909.1 He died in September 1915 at age 34 at FranceG, killed in action.3
     He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers.1

     Lt.-Col. John Raymond Louis Dennis Brett is the son of Major Raymond George Brett.2 He married Nannette Elizabeth Skipwith, daughter of Major Frank Peyton Skipwith and Hon. Bridget Vera Byng, on 17 March 1954.1
     He was with the Colonial Administration Service.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Garwhal Rifles.1
