     Mary Ann Hithersay was born circa 1825.1 She was the daughter of Reverend John Hithersay.1 She married Reverend Benjamin Shakespeare, son of William Shakespeare and Charlotte (?), on 21 November 1854.1 She died on 10 July 1886.1
     From 21 November 1854, her married name became Shakespeare.

     Reverend John Howard Shakespeare was born on 16 April 1857.1 He was the son of Reverend Benjamin Shakespeare and Mary Ann Hithersay.2 He married Amy Gertrude Goodman, daughter of Reverend William Goodman, on 5 September 1883.1 He died on 12 March 1928 at age 70.1
     He graduated from London University, London, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a Baptist minister.1 He graduated from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland, with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He was 1st Moderator of the Free Church Federation Council.1 He lived at Finchley, London, England.1

     He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)1 He was medical officer at Wychcrest School.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Medical Corps.1 He was awarded the Medaille de la Reconnaissance Française.1

     John William Richmond Shakespeare was born on 11 June 1930.1 He is the son of William Goodman Shakespeare and Ruth Maude Potter.2 He married Lalage Ann Mais, daughter of Stuart Petre Brodie Mais, on 15 April 1955.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Irish Guards (RARO.)1 He was with the British Embassy Staff between 1966 and 1969 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1968.1
