     Hon. Ellen Sydney St. John was born on 16 October 1869.1 She was the daughter of St. Andrew St. John, 16th Baron Saint John of Bletso and Ellen Georgiana Senior.2 She married Maximilian Gowran Townley, son of Charles Watson Townley and Georgiana Dalison, on 11 February 1902.1 She died on 15 January 1959 at age 89.1
     From 11 February 1902, her married name became Townley.

     Maximilian Gowran Townley was the son of Charles Watson Townley and Georgiana Dalison.2 He married Hon. Ellen Sydney St. John, daughter of St. Andrew St. John, 16th Baron Saint John of Bletso and Ellen Georgiana Senior, on 11 February 1902.1 He died on 12 December 1942.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mid-Bedfordshire between 1918 and 1922.1

Margaret Beaufort St. John was born on 18 January 1875.1 She was the daughter of St. Andrew St. John, 16th Baron Saint John of Bletso and Ellen Georgiana Senior.2 She married Arthur Francis Anderdon Weston, son of Alexander Anderdon Weston and Isabella Frances Milman, on 2 June 1896.1 She died on 2 January 1949 at age 73, without issue.1

     Arthur Francis Anderdon Weston was the son of Alexander Anderdon Weston and Isabella Frances Milman.1 He married Hon. Margaret Beaufort St. John, daughter of St. Andrew St. John, 16th Baron Saint John of Bletso and Ellen Georgiana Senior, on 2 June 1896.1 He died on 26 January 1937.1

Beauchamp Moubray St. John, 17th Baron Saint John of Bletso1

     Beauchamp Moubray St. John, 17th Baron Saint John of Bletso was born on 4 December 1844.2 He was the son of St. Andrew Beauchamp St. John, 15th Baron Saint John and Eleanor Hussey.2 He married, firstly, Helen Charlotte Thornton, daughter of Harry Thornton, on 4 February 1869.2 He married, secondly, Ethel Susan Lutley, daughter of John Hablington Lutley, on 26 April 1911.2 He died on 10 May 1912 at age 67.2
     He retired from the military in 1867, with the rank of Officer, late of the 74th Highlanders.2 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet St. John, of Woodford, Northamptonshire [E., 1660] on 2 November 1887.1 He succeeded as the 17th Baron Saint John of Bletso, co. Bedford [E., 1559] on 2 November 1887.1 He held the office of Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire between 1905 and 1912.2

     Rev. Hon. Edmund Tudor St. John was born on 17 September 1848.1 He was the son of St. Andrew Beauchamp St. John, 15th Baron Saint John and Eleanor Hussey.2 He married Adeline Farquhar, daughter of Admiral Sir Arthur Farquhar of Drumnagesk and Ellen Rickman, on 11 July 1877.1 He died on 30 September 1884 at age 36.1
     He was Rector at Bletson, Bedfordshire, England.1

Admiral Sir Arthur Farquhar of Drumnagesk1

     Admiral Sir Arthur Farquhar of Drumnagesk was born on 9 January 1815 at Hashwell, Sussex, England.2 He is the son of Rear-Admiral Sir Arthur Farquhar and Jane Murray.2 He married Ellen Rickman in 1851.2 He died on 29 January 1908 at age 93.2
     He was commissioned in 1829, in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He gained the rank of Commander in 1844.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1849.2 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific Station in 1869.2 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Plymouth in 1878.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He lived at Drumnagesk, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.3 He had two other sons.2

     Adeline Farquhar was born on 10 May 1857 at Steyning, Sussex, England.2 She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Arthur Farquhar of Drumnagesk and Ellen Rickman.3,2 She married Rev. Hon. Edmund Tudor St. John, son of St. Andrew Beauchamp St. John, 15th Baron Saint John and Eleanor Hussey, on 11 July 1877.1 She died on 28 September 1937 at age 80 at Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.2
     From 11 July 1877, her married name became St. John.

Edmund Farquhar St. John1

     Edmund Farquhar St. John was born on 27 February 1879.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Edmund Tudor St. John and Adeline Farquhar.2 He married Henrietta Frances Dalmahoy, daughter of Colonel James Alexander Dalmahoy, on 1 June 1921.1 He died on 24 April 1945 at age 66.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1917, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917 and bar (1918.)1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
