     Margaret Trye was the daughter of John Trye.2 She married Hon. Sir Alexander St. John, son of Oliver St. John, 3rd Baron Saint John of Bletso and Dorothy Read.1 She died on 27 August 1666, without issue.1

     W/Cdr. Sir Max Edgar L. Mallowan was born on 6 May 1904 at Wandsworth, London, England.1 He was the son of Frederick Mallowan and Marguerite Duviver.1 He married, firstly, Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller, daughter of Frederick Alvah Miller and Clarisa Margaret Boehmer, in 1930.1 He married, secondly, Barbara Hastings Parker in 1977.1 He died on 19 August 1978 at age 74 at Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England.1,3
     He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He was an archaeologist in 1925.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1933.2 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Barbara Hastings Parker was born on 14 July 1908.1 She married W/Cdr. Sir Max Edgar L. Mallowan, son of Frederick Mallowan and Marguerite Duviver, in 1977.1 She died on 21 November 1993 at age 85 at Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England.2
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1962. From 1977, her married name became Mallowan.1
