Adeline Helen Hanbury was the daughter of Osgood Hanbury.1 She married Lt.-Col. William Henry Stopford Heron-Maxwell of Teviot Bank, son of Edward Heron-Maxwell-Blair of Teviot Bank and Elizabeth Ellen Stopford-Blair, on 26 February 1884.2 She died on 11 May 1941.2
Her married name became Heron-Maxwell. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Roxburghshire.2 She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1920.2

Wilfrid Stanislaus Stapleton-Bretherton was born on 26 November 1886. He was the son of Frederick Annesley Stapleton-Bretherton and Hon. Isabella Mary Petre. He died on 8 November 1914 at age 27, killed in action.1
