Arthur Joseph Hungerford Pollen was born on 13 September 1866.1 He was the son of John Hungerford Pollen and Maria Margaret Primaudaye.2 He married Maud Beatrice Lawrence, daughter of Sir Joseph Lawrence, on 7 September 1898.1 He died on 28 January 1937 at age 70.1
