Walter Riddell-Carre of Cavers Carre1

     Walter Riddell-Carre of Cavers Carre was born in August 1807.1 He was the son of Thomas Riddell and Jane Ferrier.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Riddell McLachlan, daughter of Lt.-Col. Lachlan McLachlan and Mary (?), on 30 November 1830.1 He married, secondly, Mary Falconer Currie, daughter of William Currie, in 1871.1 He died on 1 December 1874 at age 67.1
     He was given the name of Walter Riddell at birth.1 At Cavers Carre, Roxburghshire, Scotland, (an unknown value.)1

     Elizabeth Riddell McLachlan was born in 1803.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Lachlan McLachlan and Mary (?)3,2 She married Walter Riddell-Carre of Cavers Carre, son of Thomas Riddell and Jane Ferrier, on 30 November 1830.1 She died on 25 December 1869.1
     From 30 November 1830, her married name became Riddell-Carre.

     Elizabeth Fellows was the daughter of Alfred Thomas Fellows.2 She married Thomas Alexander Riddell-Carre, son of Walter Riddell-Carre of Cavers Carre and Elizabeth Riddell McLachlan, on 5 August 1865.1 She died on 28 February 1890.1
     From 5 August 1865, her married name became Riddell-Carre.
