     Sir George Renwick, 1st Bt. was born on 8 March 1850 at Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.1,2 He was the son of John Nixon Renwick and Mary Smith Forster.3,2 He married Mary Jane Thompson, daughter of William John Thompson, in 1877.1 He died on 19 June 1931 at age 81.1
     He was a shipowner.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Newcastle between 1900 and 1906.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Newcastle between 1908 and 1910.1 He was member of Fisher Renwick, shipowners and brokers, of Newcastle.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Sir John Robert Renwick, 2nd Bt. was born on 13 November 1877.1 He is the son of Sir George Renwick, 1st Bt. and Mary Jane Thompson.2 He married Ethel Deuchar, daughter of James Deuchar, in 1902.1 He died on 20 November 1946 at age 69.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Renwick, of Newminster Abbey, Northumberland [U.K., 1921] on 19 June 1931.1
