Christopher John Reith was born on 27 May 1928.1 He was the son of John Charles Walsham Reith, 1st Baron Reith and Muriel Katharine Odhams.2 He married Penelope Margaret Ann Morris, daughter of Henry Rowland Morris, on 28 May 1969.1 He died on 23 October 2016 at age 88.3
