Thomas O'Conor was the son of Andrew O'Conor, O'Conor Don and Honora Dowell.2 He died, unmarried.1
He gained the rank of officer in the French Army.1 He fought in the Battle of Fontenoy in 1745, with King Loius XV's Irish Brigade having played a large part in brining success.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Order of St. Louis in 1745 for bravery.1
