Sir Christopher William Nixon, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 November 1877.1 He is the son of Sir Christopher John Nixon, 1st Bt. and Mary Agnes Blake.2 He married Louise Clery, daughter of Robert Clery, on 7 July 1917.1 He died on 21 April 1945 at age 67.1
He graduated with a Bachelor of Law (B.L.)1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Nixon, of Roebuck Grove, Milltown, co. Dublin [U.K., 1906] on 19 July 1914.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was chairman and managing director of Clery & Company, Dublin.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

Josephine Francesca Nixon was the daughter of Sir Christopher John Nixon, 1st Bt. and Mary Agnes Blake.2 She married Charles Aloysius Barnewall, 18th Baron Trimlestown, son of Charles Barnewall and Letitia Aylmer, on 12 August 1930.1 She died on 15 June 1945.1
