S. Scorer in December 1955 at Westminster, London, England.3 He died on 16 March 1986 at age 87 at Iffley, Oxfordshire, England.2,3
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)3 He lived at 17 Third Acre Rise, Eynsham, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of GSO(1) in 1941 in the 10th Indian Infantry Division.3 He was Commanding Officer of the 16th Infantry Brigade, Ceylon between 1942 and 1943.3 He was GOC of the XXXIV Indian Corps in 1945.3
