Sir Philip Monoux, 3rd Bt. was born on 25 January 1679.2 He was the son of Sir Humphrey Monoux, 2nd Bt. and Alice Cotton. He married Dorothy Harvey, daughter of William Harvey and Dorothy Dycer, on 23 April 1701.2 He died on 25 November 1707 at age 28.2
He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Monoux. He was educated at Hart Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedford between 1705 and 1707.2

Sarah Somes was born on 22 August 1817.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Francis Somes.1 She married Reverend Charles Clement Layard, son of Reverend Brownlow Villiers Layard and Louisa Port, on 3 June 1847.1 She died on 23 May 1886 at age 68.1
