Jane Tristram was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Tristram.2 She married Reverend Octavius Samuel Piers, son of Sir Pigott William Piers, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Smythe, on 21 December 1813.3 She died on 20 July 1871.3
From 21 December 1813, her married name became Piers.1,3 They also had three other sons who died without issue.3

Sir Pigott William Piers, 5th Bt. was born circa 1742.1 He was the son of Sir John Piers, 4th Bt. and Cornelia Gertrude Pigott.2 He married Elizabeth Smythe, daughter of John Smythe, on 17 April 1771.1 He died in 1798.1
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Piers, of Tristernagh Abbey, co. Westmeath [E., 1660/1] on 14 February 1746/47.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1762 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Westmeath in 1774.1
