     Major William Jocelyn Rhys Wingfield was born on 25 March 1873.1 He was the son of Edward Rhys Wingfield and Edith Caroline Wood.2 He married Sybil Annesley Giana Markham, daughter of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant, on 16 October 1902.1 He died on 10 July 1942 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 19th Hussars.3 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in 1918.1

     Sybil Annesley Giana Markham was baptised on 13 August 1877 at Holy Trinity Church, Cowes, Isle of Wight, England.2 She was the daughter of Colonel William Thomas Markham and Ann Emily Sophia Grant.1,3 She married Major William Jocelyn Rhys Wingfield, son of Edward Rhys Wingfield and Edith Caroline Wood, on 16 October 1902.1 She died on 2 April 1959 at age 81.1
     Sybil Annesley Giana Markham also went by the nick-name of June.1 Her married name became Wingfield.

Sir William James Norman Cooke-Collis and Cléonice Gamble.2 She married Major William Thomas Rhys Wingfield, son of Major William Jocelyn Rhys Wingfield and Sybil Annesley Giana Markham, on 5 June 1936.1
     Katherine Patricia Cooke-Collis usually went by her middle name of Patricia.3 Her married name became Wingfield.
