John Sutton1

     John Sutton was born in 1770.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. and Ann Williams.1 He married Sophia Frances Chaplin, daughter of Charles Chaplin and Elizabeth Thoroton.1 He died on 15 September 1801.1

Sophia Frances Chaplin

     Sophia Frances Chaplin was the daughter of Charles Chaplin and Elizabeth Thoroton.1 She married, firstly, John Sutton, son of Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. and Ann Williams.2 She married, secondly, Thomas Wright, son of Thomas Wright and Mary Smith, on 4 October 1804.3 She died on 9 February 1844.3
     Her married name became Sutton.3 Her married name became Wright.

     Thomas Wright was born on 6 December 1773.1 He was the son of Thomas Wright and Mary Smith.1 He married Sophia Frances Chaplin, daughter of Charles Chaplin and Elizabeth Thoroton, on 4 October 1804.1
     He lived at Bramcote, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.1 He lived at Upton Hall, Newark, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1811.1

Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Richard Sutton, 1st Bt. was born on 31 July 1733.2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Sutton and Judith Tichborne.3 He married, firstly, Susan Champion de Crespigny, daughter of Philip Champion de Crespigny and Anne Fonnereau.2 He married, secondly, Ann Williams, daughter of William Peere Williams.2 He married, thirdly, Margaret Porter, daughter of John Porter, on 8 April 1793.4 He died on 10 January 1802 at age 68.4
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Under-Secretary between 1766 and 1772.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Albans between 1768 and 1780.2 He was created 1st Baronet Sutton, of Norwood Park, co. Nottingham [Great Britain] on 14 October 1772.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sandwich between 1780 and 1784.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boroughbridge between 1784 and 1796.2
