     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

     Ethel Maud Frankland was the daughter of Colonel Sir William Adolphus Frankland, 9th Bt. and Lucy Ducarel Adams.1 She married, firstly, Peter Macara-Meredith on 26 April 1906.1 She married, secondly, Frank Meredith in 1925.1 She died on 21 December 1941.1
     From 26 April 1906, her married name became Macara-Meredith.1 From 1925, her married name became Large.1 From 1926, her married name became Meredith.1

     He lived at Court House, Pewsey, Wiltshire, England.1 He was given the name of Frank Large at birth.1 In 1926 his name was legally changed to Frank Meredith.1
