She held the office of Member of the London County Council between 1928 and 1934.¹ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County London.¹ She held the office of Member of the London County Council between 1937 and 1949.¹ After her marriage, Eleanor Joan Clara Stettauer was styled as Baroness Nathan on 28 June 1940.      Roger Carol Michael Nathan, 2nd Baron Nathan was born on 5 December 1922.¹ He was the son of Harry Louis Nathan, 1st Baron Nathan and Eleanor Joan Clara Stettauer.² He married Philippa Gertude Solomon, daughter of Major Joseph Bernard Solomon, on 14 November 1950.¹ He died on 19 July 2007 at age 84.³
