Andrew Walter Mulholland, son of John Mulholland, 1st Baron Dunleath of Ballywalter and Frances Louisa Lyle, on 15 March 1877.1 She married, secondly, Ferdinand Suydam Van Zandt on 18 March 1884.1 She died on 19 May 1929 at age 72, leaving issue.1

John Mulholland, 1st Baron Dunleath of Ballywalter was born on 16 December 1819.2 He was the son of Andrew Mulholland and Elizabeth McDonnell.3 He married Frances Louisa Lyle, daughter of Hugh Lyle, on 2 April 1851.2 He died on 11 December 1895 at age 75.
He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Down in 1868.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Downpatrick between 1874 and 1885.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1878.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Antrim.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Down.2 He was created 1st Baron Dunleath of Ballywalter, co.
