David Pollock was born on 30 October 1740.1 He was the son of David Pollock and Elizabeth Tait.2 He married Sarah Homeria Parsons, daughter of Richard Parsons, on 12 December 1779.1 He died on 1 September 1815 at age 74.1

Jane Alice Maddison Philpott was born in 1843 at Brighton, Sussex, England.2 She was the daughter of Richard Price Philpott and Emma Stapley Clowes.2 She married, firstly, Colonel John Charles Campbell Daunt, V.C., son of Richard William Daunt and Bridget Hughes, on 13 May 1863 at Holmwood, Dorking, Surrey, England.1,2 She married, secondly, Colonel Thomas Francis Cosby Rochfort, son of Horace William Noel Rochfort and Frances Elizabeth Cosby, in 1889.1 She died in 1900 at Territet, Vaud, Switzerland.2
