     George Augustus Frederick Elphinstone-Dalrymple was born on 6 May 1826.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 1st Bt. and Graeme Hepburn.¹ He died on 22 January 1876 at age 49, without issue.¹
     He was Colonial Secretary of Queensland.¹

     Sir Robert Elphinstone Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, 3rd Bt. was born on 12 September 1841.¹ He was the son of Sir James Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 2nd Bt. and Mary Heron-Maxwell.¹ He married Nina Balfour, daughter of John Balfour, on 12 September 1841.¹ He died on 11 February 1887 at age 45.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 60th Rifles.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ After his marriage, Sir Robert Elphinstone Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, 3rd Bt. was styled as 3rd Baronet Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone [U.K., 1828] on 26 December 1886.¹

     Sir Graeme Hepburn Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, 4th Bt. was born on 12 September 1841.¹ He was the son of Sir James Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 2nd Bt. and Mary Heron-Maxwell.¹ He married Margaret Anne Alice Fairlie, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Ogilvy Fairlie and Elizabeth Constance Crawford, on 5 January 1875.¹ He died on 22 May 1900 at age 58 at Straits Settlements.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone [U.K., 1828] on 11 February 1887.¹

     Colonel Sir Robert Graeme Elphinstone-Dalrymple, 5th Bt. was born on 17 January 1844.¹ He was the son of Hew Drummond Elphinstone-Dalrymple and Helenora Catherine Heron-Maxwell.¹ He married Flora Loudoun Macleod, daughter of James William Macleod, on 27 April 1871.¹ He died on 16 April 1908 at age 64.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone [U.K., 1828] on 22 May 1900.¹

     Sir Edward Arthur Elphinstone-Dalrymple, 6th Bt. was born on 3 October 1877.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Robert Graeme Elphinstone-Dalrymple, 5th Bt. and Flora Loudoun Macleod.¹ He married Jane Muriel Gibbons Hawke, daughter of John Gibbons Hawke, on 3 September 1909.¹ He died on 22 April 1913 at age 35, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone [U.K., 1828] on 16 April 1908.¹

     Colonel Sir Francis Napier Elphinstone-Dalrymple, 7th Bt. was born on 17 July 1882.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Robert Graeme Elphinstone-Dalrymple, 5th Bt. and Flora Loudoun Macleod.¹ He married Edith Ethel le Breton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Henery le Breton, on 30 September 1909.¹ He died on 18 December 1956 at age 74, without male issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone [U.K., 1828] on 22 April 1913.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, in France, Gallipoli and Palestine, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was D.A.A.G. between 1915 and 1917.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel between 1917 and 1919.¹ He was awarded the Officer of the Crown of Italy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle of Serbia 5th class.¹ He was A.A. and Q.M.G. between 1919 and 1923.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1922.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army.¹ He was D.A.A. and Q.M.G. between 1923 and 1924.¹ He was Commandant between 1925 and 1930 at Royal Military School of Music.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became dormant.¹

     Margaret Burnet Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone was the daughter of Sir James Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 2nd Bt. and Mary Heron-Maxwell.¹ She married Reverend John Maturin Warren on 11 September 1873.¹ She died on 1 April 1914.¹
     From 11 September 1873, her married name became Warren.¹

     Reverend John Maturin Warren married Margaret Burnet Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, daughter of Sir James Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 2nd Bt. and Mary Heron-Maxwell, on 11 September 1873.¹ He died in 1901.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Rector at Bawrip, Somerset, England.¹

     Nina Balfour was the daughter of John Balfour.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Robert Elphinstone Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 2nd Bt. and Mary Heron-Maxwell, on 12 September 1841.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. Sir James Bevan Edwards on 16 July 1901.¹ She died on 31 December 1916.¹
     From 12 September 1841, her married name became Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone.¹ From 16 July 1901, her married name became Edwards.¹

     John Balfour lived at Queen's Gate Place, London, England.¹
