Eric Nassau Molesworth was born on 8 June 1878.1 He was the son of Frederick Nassau Molesworth and Emma Louisa Davenport.2 He married, firstly, Harriet Cicely Mitchell, daughter of Rev. Canon Harry Mitchell, on 28 April 1909.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Nassau Molesworth, daughter of William Nassau Molesworth and Clara Healey, on 20 November 1930.1 He died on 26 October 1952 at age 74.1
He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of officer in the 6th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.1 He held the office of Coroner of Lancashire.1
