Lachlan Maclachlan, 17th of Maclachlan1

     Lachlan Maclachlan, 17th of Maclachlan was the son of Lachlan Maclachlan, 16th of Maclachlan and Janet Wallace.2 He married Mary Stewart, daughter of Robert Stewart, 8th of Appin and Isabel MacLeod.1 He died on 16 April 1746, killed in action.1
     On 23 September 1719 he was served heir to his father.1 He fought in the Battle of Culloden on 16 April 1746.1
