Margaret Macdonald was the daughter of James Macdonald and Margaret Leah Smith.2 She married Sir John Beverley Robinson, 4th Bt., son of John Beverley Robinson and Mary Jane Hagerman, on 3 September 1873.2 She died on 13 February 1875.1

Sir John Beverley Robinson, 4th Bt. was born on 2 June 1848.2 He was the son of John Beverley Robinson and Mary Jane Hagerman.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Macdonald, daughter of James Macdonald and Margaret Leah Smith, on 3 September 1873.2 He married, secondly, Eleanor Biggar Cooke, daughter of Charles Henry Cooke, on 18 October 1892.2 He died on 11 November 1933 at age 85.2
In 1866 he helped suppress Fenian disturbances in Canada (and was wounded at Limeridge.)2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Robinson, of Toronto, Canada [U.K., 1854] on 24 August 1901.1
