     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     From 20 February 1917, her married name became Belfield. From 12 October 1922, her married name became Bowie.¹

     Captain Eric Belfield was born on 10 July 1891 at Kings Norton, Warwickshire, England.² He was the son of Edwin Belfield and Ellen Allday.² He married Valerie Ermyntrude Morris, daughter of Sir Robert Armine Morris, 4th Bt. and Lucy Augusta Cory, on 20 February 1917.¹ He died on 31 July 1917 at age 26, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment.¹

     Dulcie Elaine Morris was the daughter of Sir Robert Armine Morris, 4th Bt. and Lucy Augusta Cory.² She married Charles Fitzroy Bruce Pryce, son of Alan Cameron Bruce Pryce and Susannah Mary Synnot Maunsell, on 27 February 1913.¹ She died on 27 March 1967.¹
     From 27 February 1913, her married name became Bruce Pryce.
