Emma Sidebottom was the daughter of William Sidebottom.1 She married John Hill Wood, son of John Wood and Alice Hill, on 13 June 1854.1 She died on 3 May 1889.1

Sir John Moncreiff of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. was born in 1635.1 He was the son of Sir John Moncreiff of that Ilk, 1st Bt. and Lady Mary Murray.2 He died in 1674, unmarried.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Moncreiff [N.S., 1626] circa 1651.1 He gained the rank of Officer in the Scots Guards.1 In 1657 he was forced by his mother's extravagance to sell first his Fifeshire estate of Carnbee and then in 1663 the Barony of Moncreiffe, doing so in the latter case to his cousin Sir Thomas Moncreiff, 1st Bt.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Moncreiff [N.S., 1626] circa 1651.1 He gained the rank of Officer in the Scots Guards.1 In 1657 he was forced by his mother's extravagance to sell first his Fifeshire estate of Carnbee and then in 1663 the Barony of Moncreiffe, doing so in the latter case to his cousin Sir Thomas Moncreiff, 1st Bt.1
