Gertrude Borrowes was the daughter of Robert Borrowes and Charlotte Madden.1,2 She married, firstly, Richard Bourke, son of Reverend George Theobald Bourke and Augusta Georgiana Webster, on 26 June 1849.1 She married, secondly, Anthony North Peat on 12 August 1858.1 She died on 10 June 1910.1
