     Charles Joseph MacDermot was born on 4 June 1794.1 He was the son of Hugh MacDermot, The MacDermot and Elizabeth Frances O'Conor.2 He married Arabella Mary O'Rorke, daughter of Hyacinth O'Rorke, in November 1829.1 He died on 5 September 1873 at age 79.1
     He lived at Coolavin, Ireland, Coolavin.1
