Admiral Leveson Eliot Henry Somerset was born on 29 August 1829.2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Lord Granville Charles Henry Somerset and Hon. Emily Smith.2 He married Evfah Penelope Rowley, daughter of Hon. Richard Thomas Rowley and Charlotte Shipley, on 11 January 1872 at Wales.1,3 He died on 7 February 1900 at age 70 at Curzon Street, London, England.2

Admiral George Ferguson, 5th of Pitfour was born illegitimately in April 1788.1 He was the son of George Ferguson, 4th of Pitfour.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Holcombe Woodhouse, daughter of John Woodhouse of Aramstone.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Elizabeth Jane Rowley, daughter of Clotworthy Rowley, 1st Baron Langford of Summerhill and Frances Rowley, on 7 April 1825.2 He died on 15 March 1867 at age 78.
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Banffshire.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.1
