     Mary Winter was the daughter of James Winter.2 She married Sir Atwell Lake, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Bibye Lake, 1st Bt. and Mary Atwell, in July 1740.1 She died on 19 April 1782.1
     From July 1740, her married name became Lake.

     Admiral Sir Willoughby Thomas Lake was the son of Sir James Winter Lake, 3rd Bt. and Joyce Crowther.2 He married Charlotte Macbride, daughter of Admiral John Macbride and Ursula Folkes, on 19 May 1795 at Northwood, Hampshire, England.1,3 He died on 18 February 1847 at Blackheath, Kent, England.1,3
     He gained the rank of Admiral of the White.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1

     Admiral John Macbride was born circa 1735 at Scotland.2 He was the son of Reverend Robert Macbride.2 He married Ursula Folkes, daughter of William Folkes and Ursula Taylor, on 14 July 1774.2 He died on 17 February 1800.2
     He was with the Merchant Navy between 1751 and 1754.2 He gained the rank of Able Seamn in 1754 in the Royal Navy.2 He fought in the Seven Years' War.2 He fought in the American War of Independence.2 He gained the rank of Admiral of the Blue.2 He fought in the Napoleonic Wars.2
