     Henry Burn married Charlotte Kirkpatrick, daughter of Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 5th Bt. and Jane Kirkpatrick Sharpe.¹

     Thomas Kirk lived at Keir Mill, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.¹

     Helen Stuart Kirk was born in 1814 at Keir Mill, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Thomas Kirk.³ She married Sir Charles Sharpe Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 6th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 5th Bt. and Jane Kirkpatrick Sharpe, on 24 March 1837.¹ She died on 29 September 1877.¹
     From 24 March 1837, her married name became Kirkpatrick.

     Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 7th Bt. was born on 26 April 1839.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Sharpe Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 6th Bt. and Helen Stuart Kirk.² He married Sophia Anne Blanton, daughter of William Blanton, on 23 October 1866.¹ He died on 23 June 1880 at age 41, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Kirkpatrick, of Closeburn [N.S., 1685] on 9 October 1867.¹

     William Blanton lived at Frampton-on-Severn, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Sophia Anne Blanton was the daughter of William Blanton.² She married Sir Thomas Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 7th Bt., son of Sir Charles Sharpe Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 6th Bt. and Helen Stuart Kirk, on 23 October 1866.¹ She died on 31 July 1879.¹
     From 23 October 1866, her married name became Kirkpatrick.

     Sir James Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 8th Bt. was born on 22 March 1841.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Sharpe Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 6th Bt. and Helen Stuart Kirk.² He married Mary Steward Fearnley, daughter of Charles John Fearnley, on 24 April 1872.¹ He died on 10 November 1899 at age 58.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Kirkpatrick, of Closeburn [N.S., 1685] on 23 June 1880.¹

     Roger Kirkpatrick was born on 21 September 1842.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Sharpe Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 6th Bt. and Helen Stuart Kirk.²

     Charles William Sharpe Kirkpatrick was born on 6 May 1843.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Sharpe Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 6th Bt. and Helen Stuart Kirk.² He was also reported to have been born on 27 April 1846.³ He was baptised on 23 May 1846 at Keir, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.³ He married Catherine Murch, daughter of Charles Bartram Murch and Fanny Strippling, in 1867.¹ He died in 1908.¹

     Charles Bartram Murch was born in 1816 at Brixham, Devon, England.² He married Fanny Strippling on 9 June 1836 at Berry Pomeroy, Devon, England.²
     He was a revenue officer.² He lived at Peckham, London, England.¹
