     Sir Richard Roy Maconachie was the son of James Robert Maconachie.2 He married Joan Lethbridge, daughter of Captain Edward Lethbridge and Constance Brooke, on 2 June 1921.1 He died on 18 January 1962.1
     He was in the Indian Civil Service.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1

Mary Lethbridge1

     Anna Maria Lethbridge was born circa 1806.1 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Buckler Lethbridge, 2nd Bt. and Anne Goddard.2 She married Lt.-Gen. Sir Richard Goddard Hare-Clarges, son of James Hare and Mary Clarges, on 7 June 1848.1 She died on 20 March 1886.1
     From 7 June 1848, her married name became Hare-Clarges.
